DanMax
First time here. Hi everyone, Dan here from US. Trick for using windows7 upgrade disc as a regular "OEM Install" [worked for me two times.] Best to use a clean [formatted drive] 1: select optical drive as first boot. 2. do the complete install, BUT don't enter the activation code [key code.] 3. finish the complete install. 4. leave the disc in the drive, let it reinstall again, but this time when it asks for the activation code [key code], type it in.5. Now you just used the windows7 upgrade disc as a OEM or Full Install Disc. This is the only way I found that works without leaving a bunch of old operating system files/junk on the hard drive. I saved all my files/documents on a usb drive & added them later. Speaking of Windows7 Ultimate. I might have two "2 disc box sets" to sell. I think that they were made for every place other than the US. If anyone gets a chance, please leave a comment on where I can post them. I hate to use ebay. Thanks, DanMax
Skulltrail
This sticky is ancient. Would someone care to make a more modern alternative? (that includes Windows 7) Ignuition 1 Share
