todd Posted April 16, 2004 Share Posted April 16, 2004 I set up longhorn build 4053 on VMware with bridged networking (it gets its own ip on the lan) but I cant access the internet. I have a share on my host computer (running xp pro sp1) called NetShare. I can access that completely from longhorn, so it seems as if the network is working, but why dont internet applications (IE, etc) work? Any help/attempt is much appreciated. Edit: BTW, IE is saying it cannot find the server, but the DNS settings are right and it doesnt work with ip's in place of addresses. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And when you say stuff about it they restrict your account to "Shut you up" Anyway type Chris123NT in google and hit "I'm feeling lucky". You'll be taken to the 4053 guide.
