HellBender Posted May 4, 2004 Share Posted May 4, 2004 I am SO screwed... My legs feel numb, I've lost my appetite, and I just feel like drowning myself :pinch: I just got my first speeding ticket. What speed was I going? a freaking 99 miles per hour. I had NO idea I was going that fast, and if I did I wouldve slammed on the breaks... I dont drive that fast! I can't believe it. And the worst part? My parents are going to butcher me. I mean, take away my car, computer, and every imaginable piece of fun in my life :pinch: They yell at me for going at 70mph on the freeway, I can only imagine how freaked they are gonna be at 99mph. Every time I saw a cop on the side of the road I would think "Such idiots getting speeding tickets, I drive at a decent speed and I always drive behind someone faster than me to make sure that doesnt happen..." I was on the 65mph-posted freeway, and just thinking how nice it was that there were no cars around me, and I was in the second to fastest lane just cruising along... From the corner of my eye I see myself passing a blue flash and my heart stops, and I look in my mirror and see its only a blue truck.. I think "Damn, it sure would suck to get a ticket." and I'm thinking about things, not looking at my speedometer, and a few minutes later i look behind me and a white camero cop car is flashing his lights at me. I told my parents about it, but in actuallity *sp?* you don't even need to tell your parents. Matt Posted May 4, 2004 Share Posted May 4, 2004 the highest ive gotten a ticket for was 68 in a 35 but the cop wrote i was going 50 in a 35mph. i have been pulled over for exceeding 150 in a 50 and let go without a warning. i havent had a traffic ticket in nearly 2 years now. yay me! Really though, the cop was a nice guy.
