NeoTrunks Posted March 2, 2002 Share Posted March 2, 2002 That's true. When I try asking people why I get only 60, they get stupid and start saying my comp is a piece of crap. It doesn't make sense. I've set my fps_max to 200. It won't go over 60 at all. In quake 3 and many mods for it, I can get over 150 FPS with full detail. What can we do? This is the one that I use: http://www.planetquake.com/ztn/nvreffix/ However maybe there are some that are better, I am a total NVidia newbie (used to have a Voodoo 3 3000). However I do know that if it won't top out over 60 then your refresh rate must be set to 60hz, and without the fix games won't go faster than 60fps in D3D, it doesn't affect OpenGL which is why Q3 runs fine.
