FireHazard
Well, I got my Geforce 4 TI4600 Sunday and it's really sweet! I'd say it's sweet ass sweet. Ran like a champ in my Window 98SE environment... Yesterday, I bought Windows XP Full Retail package. I loaded it and found out it's not that great in most games. The Screen seems to have sync issues... or refresh issues.... So I updated all the following: Via 4in1 Drivers Geforce 4 Drivers USB Drivers Everthing is stable yet my game performance is still not running that great. I started doing research... Found out about the 60mhz refresh rate issue and it's ways to be fixed.... My question is... how do I fix it with a Geforce 4? The fix is for the Geforce3 and prior video cards... nVidia only from what I see. Do you guys know of any other way I can fix this... I use DXDIAG to fix the D3D refresh rate by doing an override... so how the hell do I fix it in OpenGL? Thanks for your time and I'm sorry to be such a newbie... Any other tweaks I should know about for XP? Thanks, FireHazard BTW - This is my first post
h71y6
Check with www.3dguru.com I think Rivatuner and GeforceTweakUtility might support GF4
Phil Gates
so you installed the gf4 before you installed xp right?
irdawood
as phill said, try putting your computer together and then installing XP may work...
