radioboy
OK, here's the thing. We've got a bunch of video clips for school on a Sony Digital8 Handicam. We're importing the clips into Premiere. When Premiere is in "Video for Windows" mode in the project properties, everything works well. But as soon as we switch to DV/IEEE1394 mode, clips play fast. And I mean super fast. A 10 second clip will go by in half a second. And we can't figure out why. This would be simple to work with if our computer had a standard composite out and we could go right to a VCR, but all we have is firewire to go to the camera. Anyone have any idea why the clips go so weird? We've tried all the basic stuff like changing framerates and time codes and switching between NTSC and PAL. We need a solution by tomorrow cause we have to show this video friday.
