glix81
Hey My sister just bought a new DVD player. I have a movie on my computer between 650 - 700mbs. I have a burner, and was wondering if there was a way to put that movie on to a cdr, and have it be able to play on my sister's DVD player. I know that there are DVD buners, and DVD writable media availiable, but i am looking for a way to burn a movie to a CDR and have it be able to be viewed on a DVD player. episode
you need to burn it as a VCD... and the player has to be VCD compatible
ElGato
It may be a VCD compliant mpeg, in which case just burn it as a VCD if her player supports it

joerockhead
They have the information you are looking for (converting divx to vcd). www.vcdhelp.com
Tiftof
If the movie is compressed in mpeg then you only need nero burning rom to burn it as a vcd. But your movie is most likely a divx. Check www.doom9.net for how to convert it to a vcd.
