mooodi
I know this is a beta so all am Reviewing is what it does and its bases All starts at the installation page it looks very welcoming, but it also looks alot like the google toolbar download page. Look at the google toolbar download page here http://toolbar.google.com The main reason this was released was so that they could add a new feature called Anit-Spy which seem quite logical becuase of the increase in Ad-ware and Spy-ware. The whole bar looks very much like the old bar except for the new button Setup is Downloaded through the browser unlike other bars. Quite simple, If you run into problems They have a support forum, which seems like a logical thing to do. The main Scan screen Is like a setup. It dosent have Glossy button or anything like Ad-aware or Spybot S&D its just the standard buttons you see everywhere in windows. Heres where I was Surprised I Look at the screen shot below it detected something, So what? well i just did an Ad-ware scan with latest updates. So this prooves its good at what it does, . Sounds perfect? I still havent figured out how to Update it. Another bad thing would be tha fact that its only for Internet Explorer which really blows  . Well maybe Yahoo! will Port it after the final version. You can Get Yahoo Toolbar With Anti-Spy BETA here. Edited June 1, 2004 by mooodi
LastSamurai
tried it and didnt like it. took me quite a while to remove this darn thing. I had to: uninstall toolbar uninstall anti-spy from control panel manually delete yahoo folder(still has bunch of folders and files in it) inside program files use Jv16Powertools to remove A LOT invaild leftover registry keys I'll never use this thing ever again. Im happy with google toolbar, Ad-Aware and SpywareBlaster
PetrucciSatriani
Yeah I'm not even going to bother installing it. Plenty of other things to take care of the Spyware and this almost seems to ADD some. :pinch:
