You know i really like this web site.. it's one of my favorites to visit.

But i cant stand this power trip.

It's like on IRC, this little kids get ops in a room, and then they have a field day, kicking and banning people for any stupid thing they can think of.. it's ramped.

absolute power corrupts and power corrupts absolutely..

although technically this ISNT my personal forum, I am a user without the USERS this forum and web site would be nothing.

Closeing the thread on cussing in my opinion is childish.

You are saying loud and clear that things are our way or hit the highway.. you obviously dont trust your users to to have an honest open debate about a given issue. and that really disappoints me.. that is the purpose of a forum, to allow users to discuss in detail what they have on thier minds. obviously that isnt the case here.

as far as respect goes, i agree 100% that you should be respectfull, but different people view respect in differnt ways.. you ever see any mafia movies?? those guys are all about respect, but every other word out of there mouth is a cuss word, obviously they dont think cussing is disrespectfull, and between adults i dont either. i see it as a form of expression, nothing more.

if your trying to "shield" those who are 13, then you are obviously disillusioned to think they have never heard cuss words.

it is not your job or duty to be a parent, or to police the internet, that is a parents job.

i understand that you are trying to cater to a certain audience and that is fine, this is your web site and you can do with it as you please, but i remind you, it is your users that made you. and if you continue to exclude those who are to religious, to finatical, to opinionated, to drugged up, to technical or to expressive, then you will soon find you have no users left.

i'm not trying to fight for "cussing" or saying that you should change any rules, i'm simply saying that i'm sickened by censorship and i'm dissappointed at the admins that support that.
