In 1999 it was awarded by Info Exame Magazine the award for The Year's Most Innovative Company. Conectiva Linux 4.0 was also elected the Best Operating System. Conectiva is the first distributor of Linux outside the US - Europe - Japan axis. Conectiva Linux comes in 3 languages: English, Portuguese and Spanish. Version 10 was released today and comes with kernel 2.6, XFree86 4.4, KDE 3.2, GNOME 2.6 and the usual vast array of software supplied either on the CDs or the distribution's massive RPM repository.
