Ren (Killshot) Posted March 25, 2002 Share Posted March 25, 2002 heh, man this is awesome, I just ran arround the DEATHSTAR ( all detail from the film's) (even the prison chamber and the crushing room) as luke skywalker, using my force powers pushing ppl away and dragging them in the attacking them with the light saber, CTF rocks 2 (defending your base with yer lightsaber, chassing ppl screaming Im a JEDI :p ). MikeS2k Posted March 25, 2002 Share Posted March 25, 2002 The main character is Kyle Katarn (from the original Dark Forces / Jedi Knight), but in Jedi Outcast you get to meet Luke Skywalker, so maybe there's a skin for him in multiplayer? IT BLOODY ROCKS. built on the q3 enging yes... but i thought it would need a supercompy as i can't play even Q3UT (urban terror mod) without a severe performance hit. but no, smooth as a baby's butt. oh yeah. the gfx are SWEET, very detailed. them lil bots running around make the funniest sound when u shoot them, almost like you'd figure an ewok would sound. i haven't got lightsaber of force-powers yet, but i guess they'll come. =) and oh ye, when u enter the base on the first level... make sure to check out the females ass. omg! I guess Jan looks ok but I'll stick to real women ;) Anyway, I was late for work this morning because I was having lots of fun in the multiplayer mode. I died a lot because there are already people online kicking ass. Aside from that, the graphics make good use of the Quake 3 engine and the gameplay is very similar to the original Jedi Knight which is good and bad in a way I suppose. It's still a fun game though. Some are still new to the game, but others are really opening canS of whoop ass.
