So other than the thread being about itself, what IS the thread actually about? Or is that just it, being about nothing other than itself, or not even really about itself, as long as its not about anything?

Well I think it's a lovely thread, and I agree that it should be kept around. It does Neowin justice.

hrmmm... just wondering, but is every single post, threads archived somewhere? or is it not even archived away and the db is just getting fatter and fatter?

The only things deleted are the famous babes forum and the occasional thread that was deleted by a mod.

The rest is all here :) and yes the database is getting fatter and fatter
