Filez and top would change to Appz .. Games ... blabla....... left would be news and on click would be the months archives... hehe so i like a coo mix !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have only a few ( < 7 links ) just go with top ONLY if it makes some sort of sense. =P people read pages from upper left, and then in a sort of z to the bottom right. so non-computer people look at the top or left first. but it doesn't really matter, i wouldn't put it on the right really though. Very well-said. Though you may want to make an elitist website (hehe) it is always best to comfor the commoner. Top and left are your best bets. Good point (Shoulda thought of that myself)...keep the top-bar at one line.
