PKHelloNasty
:s I recently got Tony Hawk 3, and am having a problem with the graphics. :dead: When I put the resultion anything higher than the lowest setting 800 x 600, I get an "Out of Sync" error on my monitor as soon as I start the game. The sound works, but with no visual. I have no clue as to what may be causing this. I have good video software and Hardware in my computer and run all my other games at 1280 x 1024 with no delay in graphics at all. My computer is this... AMD 1700 (1.4 gig) 512 Meg Ram Samsung SyncMaster 753DF Monitor Ge Force 3 w/ NVidia Drivers Direct X 8.1 :knocked: If you can think of NEthine, please let me know

twist
i think its cause the game is running at a higher refresh then your monitor supports, look around, i saw this in another thps pc thread.
arsekicker
You need to install drivers for your monitor.
PKHelloNasty
I did a re-install and it seemed to fix the problem. I had drivers for my monitor allready and everything else seemed cool...so i dunno what was up... weird... I just assume bad software :D Got the graphics busted all the way up, but it doesn't much difference from the 800 x 600 veiw with all the fog blocking the veiw of objects in the distance. Just sharper people. hmm.. :-D
