Tim Dorr Veteran Posted April 22, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 22, 2002 steam is valve's new content delivery system. in english, it's a downloadable version of their games. so, you get steam, and when you connect, you'll always have the latest version. so, if they discover a cheat in the program, they can update your client without you having to do a thing. it's ok, but i see no need for it... mortensen Posted April 22, 2002 Share Posted April 22, 2002 I tried it without knowing what it was and it redownloaded the whole of TFC... over 600mb! I then ran out of harddisk space. Very wierd.
