me thinks Xbox

because:

-> you can play DVD Movies

-> play on the internet through PC (LAN)

-> big kick-ass controllers :D

-> nice black colour

-> HALO! & other great games

I'm getting mine the summer, after the big tests :right:

Me thinks GameCube because:

- More portable

- Controller actually feels good. If it is too small there are tons of bigger ones.

- Made to be game console, not play DVDs.

- Virtually no loading.

- Much better 1st and 2nd party support

- Can get the screen to go on top with extra money from not getting XBox

- Resident Evil, Perfect Dark: Zero, Metroid Prime, etc. This is no kiddie console like the XBox fan-boys keep saying, that is their only main arguement.

- You can get adult or kid games

- If there is not DSL or Cable in your area then your gonna be screwed come XBox internet time. Not with GameCube, they've got broadband and dial-up.

- Not in financial trouble unlike the XBox (not Microsoft, the XBox sales I mean)

- Nice black, purple colors with more comming later.

- Super Smash Brothers: Melee! & Other Great Games.

- You can get a wireless controller (and other good ones already) soon.

- Smaller disks are much better IMHO, it is just a preference, though.

If you argue the hard drive, your wrong, too, because GameCube will be getting one soon.

I'd personally get the Gamecube, I don't think Halo is worth ?250.

I'd get Gamecube with Waverace, Rogue Leader, Luigi's mansion, couple of controllers, Resident evil when it comes out, and the Zelda: Ocarina of time remake!

Check that Ocarina Of time remake here:

I LOVED Zelda, and no, I'm not a 5 year old!!:DD:DD

I must agree :) Another reason I like Nintendo is that even though their games may seem like "kiddie" games, they still appeal to most everyone.

Halo is a great game, don't get me wrong, but there is nothing ground-breaking here.
