Sorry guys, the image hosting service that I used at first screwd me

I updated the post with images hosted on another service... I also added more Half-Life 2 screenshots.

What would be nice is if you could actually take pictures of the monitor with half life 2 on the screen ;)

About half the price of my Apple 20" display. That makes me feel all warm inside. :)

1. None of the images work. It just displays the Image Shack Uploader.

Im still not sure whether to get this for 4:3 Version.

I cant decide between this and the 2001FP !!! :( I mean dont u lose some screen size with this? not diagnoally, but the height!? Ive heard that you lose more in the height than you gain in the width :(

Right. But they worked like an hour before... :( I have to admit, this LCD is awesome! :) Makes me want one, unfortunately it isn't available as a single product in germany. And the only price I found was about >1100

Here you guys go. I took the liberty of hosting the images, for now.

Cheers...

I'm seriously impressed... I saw this monitor the other day, but I wasn't sure about how practical it would be. Sure, HL2/Doom3/UT2k4 all support it, but I'm more concerned about generic game #1.

Still, it would be really practical for Cubase and the web, which is what I mainly use my computer for anyway. Oh man... looking at the pictures again I really want that monitor!!!

2005FPW-1.jpg

Is that against a 19 or 20 inch 4:3 monitor?

Looks too big for a 19"... gotta be 20" or greater.

It's actually a 17" monitor.

I currently own a ViewSonic VP171s 17-inch LCD monitor

wow. Widescreen really does chop the top off then and make it stretch. Hmmm.

Thank you all for the replies and comments...

- Ron21, good for you :)

- I did fix the links so all images are working now!!!

- At first I thought it was the hosting service problem, but I then realized that when I edit the post, Neowin's forum editor actually removes a variable in the link (&image). I don't know if this is because I'm using FireFox 1.0 or not, but I'll never go back to IE...

Yeah, every time I go to CompUSA or the Apple store and see the 20 inch widescreen I am so glad I went with the 2001FP on at least 3 different levels. :p
