There's no such thing as "burn-in" on an LCD, at least in the "burning" sense. There is image persistence, and it is never permanent. "In most instances, the image persistence can be reduced by turning the monitor off for as long as the image was displayed or by displaying the same image in the complementary colors."--NEC
My 2005FPW is great except for the propensity for screen burn. Use a screensaver or better yet, set your display settings to turn off the monitor. The burn seems to fade over time though so hopefully it's not permanent.
