bangbang023 Veteran Posted January 22, 2005 Veteran Share Posted January 22, 2005 just recieved the logitech 3100 combo, its wonderful really beats the hell out of that mx duo (the combo w/ 700mx).. the mouse does feel alot different from the 700 tho which kinda bugs me since i got so used to the 700, but in due time im sure ill get so used to it, if ur considering buying this mouse.. spend a few extra bucks and get the keyboard/mouse combo.. the keys are extremely quiet on the keyboard.. wonder how long that'll last 585336710 do they sell the keyboard separately? todd
Ok so now I'm confused are the 2 pictures below of the same mouse? There's a 'Charcoal' MX1000: And there's a 'Midnight' MX1000: Not sure if it;s just online retailers using different names and if the mice look different due to the shine and reflective surface off the top of the contours of the mouse ??? Found them both available for sale in the UK too! :) 585330052 Where did you find these? The first has an amazon url, but i cant find it on their site. ]EGG[
todd' - The image was taken from the US Amazon site here : http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...ronics&n=507846 The other was taken from the place I ordered mine from: http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/73905/art/...t-cordless.html Other places in the UK have it in stock, such as Scan http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo...roductID=145743 I'm just confused as all the product shots look different on every site and it's hard to tell what you'll eventually end up with! S.MULLA
is it me or dose the blue one look better than the "newer" black version ?
]EGG[
If you have all black kit (TFT, Keyboard, Speakers etc) then the new 'midnight' MX1000 blends into your setup better.
todd
is it me or dose the blue one look better than the "newer" black version ? 585337964 No, the black one looks so awesome :D I didn't buy the blue one cause I thought it was ugly.. so I was waiting for a black one, or a better mouse that was black. Hypoxiaicon
The black one looks plasticy... Could be a bad picture though. Also, that Logitech Logo is coming off quicker haha :p My MX1000 is doing well. Had it 3-4 Months now :)
SweetRiverBaynes
Now Hypo, I know you meshwelled your MX1000 with your Cordless DiNovo, which reciever do you use, the one with the DiNovo, or the one with the MX1000?

Otherwise if you dont have a mouse (I'm guessing you do but just incase) then... well up to you :p Coffeee
Dazzla Veteran Posted January 25, 2005 Veteran Share Posted January 25, 2005 I don't even have a PC so it's sat here doing nothing. I've emailed them and submitted a RMA request. It sucks though because we have to pay carriage back to Ebuyer, that's balls.

Dazzla Veteran Posted January 25, 2005 Veteran Share Posted January 25, 2005 Well, I'll ship from work so it's free. I'm gonna ask for a refun as well, Pixmania (who I've used before for cameras) have both the regular and Midnight as seperate items: Midnight: http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/73905/art/...t-cordless.html Charcoal: http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/54200/art/...-opticla-m.html So I'll get a refund from Ebuyer and buy it from there.
