am0nrahx
1987 Honda Accord LX, had about 180,000 on the clock when we picked it up. Paid about $300 for it. After a year or two, we bought new tires for it.. Tires cost more than the car.
Ironman273
1988 Mazda RX7 Turbo. Looked just like this one: Current status: A lady pulled a u-turn from the right lane right in front of me. I T-boned her and the car was totaled. This was in 1995.

Jimmy0
Got my first car about 2 months ago... its a 1999 1.1L Peugeot 106 (3 Door) for ?555. It had done about 109K miles, but I've done about 2K more in it since then. MOT till February 2012 and tax until November 2011. Took it to my local garage to get them to look over it (I know bugger all about cars) and only issue it had was it needed two new rear tyres, a new oil switch (or something like that) and a change of oil. This cost a further ?50, so all in all paid about ?605 for the little beast and it seems to be going strong! Hopefully it'll just last a few years whilst I finish Uni, and in that time I can just run it to the ground and save up some money to buy a better car. :)

remus_lupin
I purchased my first vehicle a week and a half ago. It's a silver 2000 Audi S4 - 2.7 litre biturbo v6. I already purchased and installed a set of 18 inch 10-spoke Sparco rims. I have a few more things to get done; the following are in the mail: new headlights (with HIDs), replacement interior black&red carbon fibre trim, and replacement bulbs for the interior along with red LED strips which will go in the trunk, under each door, and by my feet, already installed an aftermarket headunit and I have already made a ported sub box with a plexiglas window, and I have an appointment on July 16th to have the windows tinted. I will post better pictures once I have done some more to it. Until then I took a basic photo with my cell phone. I chose to go with a red theme seeing as the S4 came with a stock red theme. After the above is all completed I will be looking into having the car lowered.

rr_dRock
My first car was a 2006 Chevy Cobalt LT Pros: It ran, and never left me hanging. ( I put about 7 grand into it, just to keep it running, but it seriously never died, and left me without transportation) Cons: It was built by Chevy, in a factory that must have been run by small handicapped gorillas. After a long hard day of 4x4ing:

LaP
The first car i owned and still own is a Mazda 3 2007. Pros: Cheap for its class. The only thing i had to repair (that is not normal wear) so far is the o2 sensor. Nice to drive. Average fuel consumption for its class. No rust so far which is surprising considering all the rusted Mazda i see on the road. Always start easily during winter time. Cons: Noise. It's not a silent car. Sound system is lackluster. Paint scratches easily. Average fuel consumption for its class.

dead.cell
Kind of late in life for this to be my first car, but seeing as I've always shared a car up until this point, today is the day I actually can say I have my very own. Wasn't expecting to buy a car today either. :D 2012 Dodge Avenger SXT
