First Car:

Nissan Sunny/Sentra 1987 1.5L it was a POS. inherited by my mum.
Pros: It got me to places

Cons: It was falling apart, rust, paint job...

Man that car broke down so many times I can remember, overheated, had the block and head gasket rectified (sp?), radiator had leaks, ac system was stolen by some crappy mechanic, the right front tire would have a bit of a pull when breaking, so it would eat braked like corn flakes. The back windshield had a leak I tried getting it repaired many times, then I just siliconed it and foamed it and presto. CV joints went bust, springs needed urgent changing. Driver door knob (sp? it's not a knob, I just don't know teh word in Ingrish) had to be wiggled in order for it to be open. etc. The carburetor was also rectified and had a small leak/inlet, not a leak per se, but where the carburetor went mounted on the head, it didn't come in 100% contact so it let in a bit of air. The deck light would go on/off all of a sudden for no apparent reason, then came back on. The wheel shaft/bearing where it comes in contact with the tires to make it turn was "tightened" and because of that when turning to teh right, the wheel would stay slightly a bit longer If I didn't use my hands to turn.

I sold it for $788 (which is a CHEAP price for old cars around here...)

Now with job and help of family bought a new Mazda 3 2011... but man I miss my trashy old car :( I seriously miss it, it was an investment, not just money, but teh time spent and teh memories :shifty: ... the aggravation

My first car
Chevy Lumina 2003 LS (aka Holden Commodore VY)
Sorry about the sloppy pic

- Nice looking
- Sporty with allot of room
- Absolutely fun to drive (lil press on gas and feel that backend come off the line :woot:)

- Constant electrical issue with Power locks, power window, 6-CD changer.
- If buying used one, check chassis, engine, cooling, gear box, front suspension and steering rack. Rear suspension is solid its the front where the problem may arise.
- Gas-guzller

Mods & Fixes History
- New radiator
- Replaced front passenger side steering tie rod
- New fluid pipes for power steering
- Two new power locks and knobs

Current Status

1987 Honda Accord LX, had about 180,000 on the clock when we picked it up. Paid about $300 for it. After a year or two, we bought new tires for it.. Tires cost more than the car.

Got my first car about 2 months ago... its a 1999 1.1L Peugeot 106 (3 Door) for £555.

It had done about 109K miles, but I've done about 2K more in it since then. MOT till February 2012 and tax until November 2011.

Took it to my local garage to get them to look over it (I know bugger all about cars) and only issue it had was it needed two new rear tyres, a new oil switch (or something like that) and a change of oil. This cost a further £50, so all in all paid about £605 for the little beast and it seems to be going strong!

Hopefully it'll just last a few years whilst I finish Uni, and in that time I can just run it to the ground and save up some money to buy a better car. :)

I purchased my first vehicle a week and a half ago. It's a silver 2000 Audi S4 - 2.7 litre biturbo v6. I already purchased and installed a set of 18 inch 10-spoke Sparco rims. I have a few more things to get done; the following are in the mail: new headlights (with HIDs), replacement interior black&red carbon fibre trim, and replacement bulbs for the interior along with red LED strips which will go in the trunk, under each door, and by my feet, already installed an aftermarket headunit and I have already made a ported sub box with a plexiglas window, and I have an appointment on July 16th to have the windows tinted. I will post better pictures once I have done some more to it. Until then I took a basic photo with my cell phone.

I chose to go with a red theme seeing as the S4 came with a stock red theme. After the above is all completed I will be looking into having the car lowered.
