Steven P. Administrators Posted January 18, 2005 Administrators Share Posted January 18, 2005 With the suggestions of members we have decided to reorganize our growing forums further, in the past we've been afraid that people can't find sections but we believe that a determined person will look through the category the person needs help in and all its sub sections. Behold! Changes are colored red with a description: Help & Discussion Center A Collection of Essential Guides Reviews by Members for Members moved up Hardware Hangout --64 Bit Hardware Discussion <- Moved from 64 bit Computing Overclocking and PC Modding moved up Software Discussion & Assistance --64 Bit Software Discussion <- Moved from 64 bit Computing --Drivers Discussion & Assistance <-Becomes a subforum Internet, Network & Security PDA, Tablet & Mobile Devices --Personal Media Hardware <- Moved from Home Theatre Web Browser Discussion --Microsoft Internet Explorer --Mozilla (Gecko) Customizing Windows Customizing Windows XP --Completed Visual Styles --Custom Boot & Login Screens --Works in Progress Customizing Windows 98SE/ME/2000 Cursors, Icons & Wallpapers --Completed Cursors, Icons & Wallpapers Customization & Skinning Section --WindowBlinds Area Windows Support Windows Beta Discussion Windows NT4/2000/XP Client Windows NT4/2000/2003 Server Windows 95/98/98SE/ME Windows Tips, Tricks & Tweaks <- Moved from Customizing Windows *nix Customization & Support Linux/BSD/Unix Client Linux/BSD/Unix Server Customizing your *nix Desktop Macintosh Customization & Support Mac OS Client Client Software Help Client Updates Help Mac OS Server Server Software Help Server Updates Help renamed + new forum + subs Customizing your Mac Desktop Apple Hardware Discussion Designing & Programming Bulletin Board Support --Invision Power Board --phpBB --vBulletin Board --Other Bulletin Board Distributions Programming (C#, C++, JAVA, VB, .NET etc...) bangbang023 Veteran Posted January 18, 2005 Veteran Share Posted January 18, 2005 This reorganization was much needed. We expanded a little more quickly than I think any of us expected and we got a little chunky. Credit to Steve (Neobond) for taking the time to move and remove and move once more a bunch of forums just to get it right.

Fred Derf Veteran Posted January 19, 2005 Veteran Share Posted January 19, 2005 I really like the Mac OS Server and the still somewhat new *nix Server forum. I think they will, along with the Windows Server forum, continue to attract a professional audience.
altezza Veteran Posted January 19, 2005 Veteran Share Posted January 19, 2005 I'm glad to see this reshuffling has gone extremely well. Although it will need us to get used to the new format but I can see the forums shuffling have made us easier to browse through. Thanks to members (and mods) who have contributed ideas (Y)
