Pink Floyd Veteran Posted February 1, 2005 Author Veteran Share Posted February 1, 2005 the reason why im asking if because logitech mx-1000 mouse drivers doesnt work to bind mouse3, mouse4 and mouse5 I know you can bind a key to mouse4 and so on and in CSS, I would bind this key to something I want on my mouse Now, I'm asking ctrl+key because I was used to use middle mouse key to close a tab, which is the same as ctrl+w :) you see where I am going? kalizar
i doubt very seriously that the mx-1000 wont let you bind the other mouse keys. if this was the case then no one would buy it, and so many people would complain that logitech would be forced to release drivers to fix the problem. maybe you should try reinstalling the drivers.... revvo
or how about not install the stupid MouseWare at all? I got a dual optical mouseman which has a mouse4 and I did bind it in CS:S... you can't bind key combinations. If it can be done (like lets say CTRL+1), then it requires to write some weird script which is basically too much hassle and which I still doubt is possible. I have a microsoft intellimouse explorer, and i never install the drivers. mouse1-mouse5 will still bind in game though.
