AZKABAZ Posted May 22, 2005 Share Posted May 22, 2005 Hi I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I don't think it is since this will be my home system =) I'm looking to get a new audio system to upgrade from my old Sanyo CD-BP1200, I don't really know if I want micro or mini :pinch: and I've got only one requirement and that is that it does not have a cassette thing since I have no tapes and never will. Between 500 and around 700AUD is my price range with around 900 being the absolute limit. It'd be cool if it could hang on the wall but not really necassary since i'd also like to be able to plug into the telle so I can hear my SNES/Revolution/DVD player sounds. I was planning to have it in my bedroom and sometimes move it down stairs for a party or whatever so it needs to be good enough to fill a room. I listen mostly to lounge music and jazz. After lugging the BP1200 around I don't care about how hard it is to move around. I've been looking at the Onkyo HS-N1 & CS-220 and a few Sony's and Nakamichi's but I really don't have a clue about what all the little specs mean, so I don't know what a good or bad system is, which is obviously a pain when trying to get an idea of what I want, that's why I am turning to Neowin =) Can anyone suggest a system to me that would fufill what I want?
