I cant show a preview because I dont have a webpage to stick it to. I thought you could post images here, but I dont have any idea how too so if someone can tell me how to post a pic from my HD to here if possible would be great :) I have a few :) Expect a final product, hopefully bug free in about 3 days to a week. However one thing I will say is You CANNOT change the titlebar height in advanced settings without totally screwing it up, well it will screw up just the X min and max buttons because they will hang off the titlebar. I'm sorry for those who are seeing impaired but you wont be able to make the titlebar any larger :) This is because to make the theme look exactly like the original whistler the titlebar had to be set to 18, Now, normally with an XP theme the titlebar can be enlarged or shrunk, but to a minimum size of 20. This created problems, because XP's skinning engine rely's alot on stretching bitmaps, so it buggered up any attempt at watercolor, unless I made part of the bitmap transparent, and changed alot of proportion aspects. So the plus side we have a very good looking true to original theme, but without the cool resize of the titlebar and controls :ermm: Sorry it just cant be done without making the whole thing look like $h!t. Anyways just thought I would warn ahead of time. Let's hear some comments! :) Make me move it into high gear, cause it doesnt seem like too many want this theme :ermm: But when Watercolor was taken away during betas everyone moaned :ermm: :D Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm looking forward to the Whistler theme, I hated it when I first used early whistler builds but compared to Luna it's art and it has grown on me. And I too ran Whistler for awhile, and I also have the original theme file for whistler. So I am basically porting the old theme file to the new theme format, which is alot more work then I once thought, alot of the language has changed, and its hard to keep things looking exactly the same. But I am trying. Also as I said in another post I am a perfectionist, and I really dont want anyone seeing, or holding the actual file till I'm done. Anyways This theme is proudly OPENSOURCE! Once I finish I will release the theme for free of course and I will also include the source files from before compilation, so if someone feels they can fix something, or if someone wants to make different color variations they will be welcomed to do it, and they wont have to res hack it once styles builder is out, because I will give out the source :) and brendl Hold onto your Britches! :D Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I honestly wasn't expecting that much from these themes until TGTSoft released Style Builder but this is very nice. One idea about the tray... How about making it look raised like the start menu? I have beta tested Styles XP and Style Builder, and its pretty good I must say, But I cant give it out because they have asked me not to and its an alpha anyways :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyways yes it must be in beta by now, I recieved it a couple of weeks ago, when it was in alpha and havent had much contact with TGTSoft since, they are probably very busy getting it ready. Binary Posted October 28, 2001 Author Share Posted October 28, 2001 Well Like I said, My theme will be OPENSOURCE :) that means anyone who wants to host or distribute it will be ok to do so, so long as they keep the valued name of binary attached :p I dont know what TGTSoft has planned for their themes, I assume they will be free, the first one was, But dont take my word on it.
