L3thal Veteran Posted June 14, 2005 Veteran Share Posted June 14, 2005 Dell Laptop Running OS XAnd the rumor mongering continues On the heels of yesterday's rumor that there's a dev copy of OS X for the x86 platform floating around the net, Neowin has posted this French Quicktime video of someone who appears to be using OS X on a Dell laptop (laptop may simply be acting as a monitor). This pic also emerged yesterday. Still, nobody has actually seen the rumored pirated copy of OS X for x86, so this is likely all sound and fury, signifying nothing - but it's fun to speculate. Xerxes Posted June 14, 2005 Share Posted June 14, 2005 I think it was fake, maybe it was just my computer..but that video was very dark and that laptop could of been anything..for all we know it could of been a Powerbook diguised as a Dell laptop..so well unless another (more clearer) video surfaces, proving that laptop really is a Dell laptop (or any x86 based notebook really) and that the Laptop is running OSX and not just a full-screen video or acting as a monitor to a hidden Mac, I won't accept it as been real.
