Kreuger Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 So being a fan of a few bands who supposedly borrow from Meshugah's sound, I figured it was time to check them out. I heard like 3 songs off their new cd and I must say, I'm not impressed. It sounded pretty repetitive, the songs droned on and went nowhere. Dude's vocals were alright, pretty tolerable really but he didn't seem to show much variance. I guess I'm too stuck on melody. Don't get me wrong, I totally dig polyrhythmic, stucatto style playing but for some reason this just didnt click for me.
