Is the way i have formed this message aceptable within this forum? Sorry if i am going over a previous issue but i can not find any where if it not allowed or allowed. Thanks for you help. Tim Dorr Veteran Posted June 27, 2002 Veteran Share Posted June 27, 2002 well, you're choice to use a non-standard color is problematic becuase, while other users use standard text in their posts, you're change in pattern only serves to distract (not in a bad way) the eyes toward your own posts. This may become agitating to some users because they want to just skim a thread and not be tripped up having to pattern recognize various fonts and colors. It's a simple matter of useabilty. Now, it is completely your right to choose to use an alternate color/font, no one is going to stop you. However, the option to use them in this manner was never their intent, so I'd make a personal recommendation just to stick to standard text. Not that you have to or that I'm warning you to (I am a mod, btw, did I mention that? :D ), but it's my own recommendation that you should to avoid users yelling at you about it.
