Woman buttocks is burned

ST. LOUIS (AP) - A Kansas woman who claims her buttocks were burned by cleaning fluid when she sat on a toilet seat at a Lake Saint Louis Denny's restaurant has sued the chain and the franchise owner.

Kathleen Williams of Leavenworth County alleges in the suit filed Wednesday in St. Louis Circuit Court that she had to be taken to a hospital after she used the toilet in February 2002. According to the suit, she did not see the chemical cleaner on the seat but felt it burn when she sat down.

Ugh, why do these people always wait like years before taking legal action? If I was a judge I would throw out these cases where people wait so damn long (unless they have a damn good excuse).

Have you seen a man eat his own head?

As for the chemical burn...kinda strange that only she got it. Was it some kind of allergic reaction possibly? :s

This is a strange one, while yes she does have a pretty good case. The question has to be, why the hell did she wait so long to take action ? Personally, I think if it's cases where there are instant effects and not brought on over the longterm then if they aren't actioned on in a lesser amount of time they should no longer be classed as a case. :)

It's common sense to put paper tissues on the seat. She was playing with fire when she sat on it.

I for one at least see the bright side of the story, all bacterias in the area were burned.

My question is was this caused directly from the chemicals or does she have an allergic reaction to it? I surely don't think Denny's should be to blame for an allergic reaction.
