Here's some more resources for you guys:

1140px Fluid Grid - A great layout to get started with for responsive sites.

HTML 5 Boilerplate - A great foundation for an HTML 5 site, gets you on your way with browser standardization, media queries, IE compatibility, etc.

The League of Moveable Type - For all your @font-face needs.

Also, knowing about JSON might be worth more than knowing about XML in the near future. Depends on what you're doing with the data.

I think this thread needs a re-boot of modern practices. lol

Yup, might write a new thread when I have time in a holiday or something about html5, css3, mediaqueries, canvas elements etc.

Coursera.org

Edx.org

Udemy Online

Codecademy

Coursera, Edx, and Codecademy are all free. Udemy has free courses, but they also have paid ones. Just a tip, once you buy a class, it's yours 100%. I download all my content for them, and bring them with me every where. It's saved my butt a few times, especially the CCNA Networking Class. :)

I've listed a few places that allow you to take FREE and PAID courses.
