eth3l
Been a fan of Neowin for awhile. Thus, I was glad to add it to my desktop. Unfotrunately the "add neowin to your desktop" trashed my desktop! First adding the link crashed my explorer. Now I cant add images to my desktop! Anyone know how to fix this?

eth3l
those look like the links at the top. I added the one at the top, the main one. I wanted to put your kick arse site on my desktop . . . so I tried to add it to my active desktop, and smack! know anything about web content or why this happened
configure Veteran Posted July 20, 2002 Veteran Share Posted July 20, 2002 I don't think that's the right way of doing it. If you want to get our news updates on your desktop or forum updates, I would suggest you use Klipfolio to do the task for you. Hypercube
The neowin to your desktop is an XML file which is harmless. I am unsure why explorer would have crashed as is has no reason to do so. I am unable to reproduce your error. Try going to the web property of customize desktop and delete the entry or simple clear your desktop altogether.
