twist Posted July 24, 2002 Share Posted July 24, 2002 does this use the same server? i assume it does. on thing i have noticed is that the server will keep on mailing me about certain threads, cause i visited the board, not the thread. can this be changed? and there are 2 threads that are abnormally huge... everyone knows what they are. one word story lame word ASSociation why the hell are these even still there. these tow threads are probably the largest resource hogs on neowin. not just the threads but the emails noitfications sent about them... and on avatars, why not just avatars the same way sigs are... not on the server... Geez. I never even thought of subscribing to those two. Why would you wanna do that?? You would check your e-mail to find 10's of 100's of New Reply... e-mails. twist Posted July 24, 2002 Author Share Posted July 24, 2002 if you automatically subscribe to any thread you post in you get the email by just posting in the stupid thread. i have this on since most of the threads i post in are interesting. but if say 50 people are subscribed to thoose threads and there are 100 posts in them a day, thats 5000 emails. plus they go and post, so add more...
