+Mystic MVC Posted November 28, 2005 MVC Share Posted November 28, 2005 My friend has been assigned a new ip from his ISP. Unfortunately he changed his router password and cannot remember it. I told him to reset his router but then I realized he doesn't have his information from this router written down. So if he reset it, he wouldn't be able to put some of his old info.(dns servers, gateway, etc) back in there because he wouldn't know it. A while back I thought I remember hearing about a Command Prompt command that shows you the stats or information about your connection (not netstat). If that command is not the best way to go about getting his information back before he resets his router, what other options do you guys know about? If you need more information tell me, and I can ask him for it.
