Signum Posted July 28, 2002 Share Posted July 28, 2002 I have a Nokia 5210 and Can't access the Neowin WAP site on either of the two address given. http://wap.neowin.net or http://mobile.neowin.net Does anyone else have the same problem or can give me some advice if i need to change some settings on my phone? It's too limited and i'd rather using my full screen PDA to connect to my phone and use my normal minutes instead of "internet minutes" which is seperate from normal minutes. Plus WAP is limited and not a good idea right now. SmartPhone 2002 or Phone Edition phones are better and i'd rather useing those. The internet is more than just links... it's graphics and stuff so we need that.!! Get that pocket IE version )The LITE version) of NeoWin.net running soon Tingle! cheekymonkey Posted July 28, 2002 Share Posted July 28, 2002 1) I'm Neowin staff, 2) I really like the wap version of Neowin ;) It enables me to check - very quickly - the latest Neowin news when I am unable to check the regular site. Sure it is very limited right now... but it does what I need. I have a 4meg limit on my mobile web account so I'd much rather use WAP than Mobile IE. Me reading Neowin whilst in a meeting rocks!
