Are all headphones bad for you?

Recommended Posts

its more a case of time period of high volume opposed to just volume alone. get some headphones that cancel out noise (usually look like ear plugs) so you dont need to turn it up as much and take breaks to let your ears recover.

Fainoke, welcome to Neowin, but please check how old the thread is before you reply... This thread is over a year old...

Nothing wrong with good old thread revival :p

@Fainoke

rule of thumb is:

whenever you feel the need to pump the volume up in your DAP when in a loud place. Save those settings, volume level, track/playlist, etc. Then when in a silent place, play it again and feel your ears complain, it's not about the headphones style ( EIM, circum/supra-aural etc.)

WARNING! Listening to music by any means will damage your hearing if its extended exposure. of course earphones are bad for you, headphones are probably little better and as for in-ear phones there probably the worst - ur choice 2 listen 2 music.

I swear, you're the stupidest person I've ever heard say anything.

Congratulations.
