cerbero
Well.. VLC is a nice program, but when I play a VCD or SVCD, it will slow down after a while, and the sound will play before the picture or the other way around.. Is there a way to fix this..? Also the quality isn't the best. I don't know if it's the QuickTime engine, but if I compare playback in VLC with playback in a player on my PC, it's much more blurry and color-distorted with VLC, especially with DivX movies :(
Dazzla Veteran Posted August 15, 2002 Veteran Share Posted August 15, 2002 I haven't had any problems with it yet. I've only watched 2 VCD's on it so far. The best case scenario is having quicktime 6 and the latest version of VLC installed. The latest version takes advantage of QT6's better engine. Apart from that, I don't know what it could be. You can also play SVCD's in QT6 if you have the MPEG2 plugin I think. I play my Divx movies in QT6 as well.
