UI Designer for Vista interviewed, mentions NEOWIN

The host should be taken out back and shot, did they try to find someone annoying? When ever he laughs you just want to go kill yourself.

Yes, Scoble is one of the most annoying people in the world and his camera work is atrocious.

Did the dude say it or the Jenny?

Just now started watching it but Scoble mentioned it. Dunno about any other time it's mentioned, only heard it once so far.

Edit: Second time Scoble as well

Agreed :pinch:

I can't even finish watching it... not exactly the UI designer lead by any stretch, she just making wallpapers and screen savers for Vista, and maybe the retail box.

Nope, she even designs the icons and some elements of the Aero interface (transparencies as she mentions), however I dont know whether she's responsible for the general Aero interface, which, IMO, isn't the best UI ever.

I could have sworn she said she used to do this, but was later moved into more of a marketing/graphics role. She's not responsible for the Aero interface any more.

That guy doing the interview... ARGH! He kept butting in, as well as saying "errr" every other second - one of the worst interviewers, ever. That and the stupid questions, like "why is having a brand so important?", and the irritating laughter about the royalty deal on road markings. That guy shouldn't be allowed with 10 feet of anyone, let alone talk to them.
