Neowin "unpopular and slap-worthy"

Recommended Posts

Discovered an article describing Neowin's recovery from a crash some months ago, at Digg.com -

http://digg.com/technology/Neowin_back_up

The unpopular and slap-worthy 'technology' site, Neowin.net, is finally back up after days of downtime caused by moving their site to new servers located in Chicago. Amazingly most people have actually said the site is slower than before, making it one of the biggest ######-ups in Neowin history.

Meantime the Freeware Alternative List is top of the pops at Furl.net

The site runs faster than it ever did before now, sure there were problems at the begginging, but staff have worked overtime to get this sorted. I for one think it has been a fantastic move, even with the downtime its been well worth it for me, no server busy messages, no crashes, all perfect.

What does this ▒▒▒▒▒ mean?

and how can neowin be considered slow - i'm sure most servers would be slower than this if they had 2000+ users on them.

Too hell with this guy.

Neowin is great, obviously his personal grudge with the site is getting in the way of the truth.

Agreed 100% (Y), Shouldn't have been published because it's only one guy's opinion, which again is invalid.
