ObiWanToby
That thing is powerful, or it takes power from the desktops, it was playing halo. That is what surprised me when I first saw it on front page neowin.

Landshark77
Apple needs to hurry up and come out with something like this. I am surprised they havent released a tablet Mac yet.
icecaveman
Unless this is very affordable, I just don't see it catching on. Expect it to cost slightly over $500 These processors are supposed to be very cheap, yet with very low power consumption.
Ayepecks
If it can play games like Halo and they're fun and look good, I'd be all for it. Imagine playing Half-Life 2 on something like that :D

y0sh
This would be amazing.. I would take this to college/use as gps in car/movie player etc. Laptops are just too bulky.
Brandon Live Veteran Posted February 27, 2006 Veteran Share Posted February 27, 2006 Actually I'd think it's competing with the iPod, the PSP, PMCs, and the NDS, and other devices. It competes by providing the same functionality as them in addition to loads of other functionality. It'll be expensive at first, but prices will come down. Bizkit
I think I would like it for college, more than a laptop. If it has a dvd player in it, then it sounds really sweet. I just hope its not over $500, cause then I would just buy a laptop for alittle more.
