Tim Dorr Veteran Posted October 7, 2002 Veteran Share Posted October 7, 2002 i dunno, they need more features to lure me in. I already have a web host and email, so there's not much I'd get out of it....
sparkleytone
no i didnt pay for it, but i did get it for free. if by the end of my year they have added enough features that are useful to me, I'll buy it. As it stands now its not really worth it to me.
linux2
Probably not. I am not one of Steve's sheep that blindly embraces all things Mac. I signed up for the free account when I got my eMac, but find that I never use it. BBBBBAAAAAAAAA
Chad
Yeah I signed up. Just switched my email to .mac a couple months earlier and didn't want to go through all that again. Unless they add more features, 100 will probably be too much.
jardragon901
if they lowered the price to $50-$60 then I would sign up in a heatbeat, as it stands now, I simply cant tell myself its worth it when I already have a host and email(with way more space than what .mac gives) that costs me a little more but gives me complete control over my email and hosting settings. Dazzla Veteran Posted October 8, 2002 Veteran Share Posted October 8, 2002 Yeah I paid the $50 (only ?30:rolleyes:: ) which is nothing really. I need the email, I need the web space and all the other bonuses are good such as Backup and iCal, plus the free software and photo prints. I doubt I'll be paying $100 (?60) though next year unless they offer a bit more.
