IceBrewedBeer
Either one is a good choice. Depends on preference. I, myself am getting it for PC.

Xerxes
I recently downloaded the demo off the Xbox Live Marketplace..I found it rather average to begin with, but once you get on the alien spacecraft (or whatever it is) things start getting interesting  I'm not sure yet if I'll grab it..there are some other 360 games I wanna get first, maybe if I got some spare cash I'll grab it at a later date :)
lnmnky
Cool. PC is cheaper, and the demo played at max settings, so I may as well grab it for that. :D
Smigit
yeah PC should run pretty sweet for most since its using the 2+ year old Quake 3 engine. Looks very nice still. Either will be fine but I'll go pc since its an obvious choice...not owning an xbox n all.

Game looks good I may pick it up , loved the demo :D
icecaveman
One thing I want to know since I've been playing Quake 4 on the 360 that game is PAIN to play because of the slow loading times. Now Prey is using the same engine, will the loading times be as horrible? :( I would love to see them optimize the engine for the consoles with HDDs too. The Prey demo was pretty slow loading and that was not even loading from a CD but from the HDD so I gues I can expect even slower loading times in the final game. Or is there any chance they will fix this?

I rarely noticed any loading when I played Prey, perhaps 2 load screens throughout the whole thing
Iguana
I just picked up a copy of Prey for 360... I thought I wouldn't be able to get one because I had not preordered it, but the guy at GameStop tells me they have tons and tons of copies just sitting in the back, for both 360 and PC. I'll post impressions in a few hours, or later tonight. :)

Matrix XII
I'd get it for PC. I've tried it for both PC and 360 and if you have a good computer, I'd definitely buy it for the PC :p

nolimit05
I have played DOOM 3 on my PC and could not run it but on like mid-level settings but even though Pry was built on the DOOM 3 engine I can run the demo on max settings with very little lag in FPS. It is very strange to me and prey even looks better than DOOM3 ever did.
Neo003
^ Maybe just MAYBE since they had long time to optimized the doom3 engine.

Loads faster on the PC, i had my PC and 360 Side by side, compared the two, and the PC has slightly better AA and loads more AF (when enabled), and the load times are around 10 seconds better on average.. The PC > 360 on this game at least..
theyarecomingforyou
I'd say a 9.0 from IGN is too high... a quick look at the reader average gives a more accurate score of 8.1. The game is enjoyable and solid but it's not very deep, the AI is dreadful, the plot is poor, the characters are not as well modelled/animated as HL2 and the environments are very repetitive. Quake 4, whilst not amazing, at least had a variety of levels and was, despite the familiar gameplay, more enjoyable. I was slightly disappointed with Prey, as the videos looked amazing - the gameplay just isn't a fun as it looks.
