Salohcine
I have just read in another topic that you can change the sides of your xbox easily, is this true? As I find it abit odd that they have done this if its true.
MightyJordan
If you're on about the faceplates, yes. If look to the side of the faceplate attached to the console, you'll see a gap for you to pull the faceplate off. It may be a bit tough, but it will come off. In case you're curious, yes, the 360 can work without a faceplate, as long as you have a wireless controller or media remote to turn the console on. Trong
He was wondering how he would change the rest of the case, not how to change the faceplate. You can take it off and change it but it would void the warranty. http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/repair/xbox-360-repair.htm
Brandon Live Veteran Posted August 19, 2006 Veteran Share Posted August 19, 2006 I think mostly you might be talking about the "skins" (like big stickers) that people put on them to change the color or whatever.
magik
Yea, skins are the way to go, they don't void your warranty and you can get them just about anywhere. Good quality skins come off easy without any gooey residue either, so you don't have to worry abou that. A nice matching skin/faceplate combo would make the Xbox 360 look pretty mint!
Salohcine
I was on about taking the case off completely, but skins will work too. Yea I find if I buy a face plate, it will look nice, BUT then rest is still white, and it looks pretty poor. Thanks Ill look into skins in the UK
