PL_ Veteran Posted August 26, 2006 Veteran Share Posted August 26, 2006 So watching a DVD today on my 360, my sister puts the controller out of the way on top of something, sitting precariously. She then pushes it, the controller crashes down and smashes. I'm pleased to say that the actual controller is fine, but the plastic clip-on that holds the batteries is temperamental. Removing the pack causes it to fall apart, for example, and the pack now sticks out more because it's not properly together. Just wondering, is there anywhere that sells replacement ones? I don't want to replace the whole controller, as it's fine, but I would like another pack.

They might replace the controller but who knows. Or you could always buy the Play & Charge kit and use the battery pack to replace it :)

Andrew Lyle Global Moderator Posted August 26, 2006 Global Moderator Share Posted August 26, 2006 you can buy the rechargable battery pack.. i have one, it comes with the recharge kit... now i have an extra casing for batteries but the recharge kit doesn't take batteries, it's a solid pack, that hooks up to USB to recharge.. you can unplug it now and then for wireless.. but when it starts dying, plug it in

dnast
I had the same problem. My wife's much younger brother (don't ask :p) dropped one of my controllers and broke the battery pack holder or whatever. I couldn't come up with anything, but was happy that Best Buy simply replaced the whole controller. Funny thing is that I've had an unopened controller package sitting here for about a month now since that happened.
