sharpy2k4
Hey, ive just moved house, i used to connect my xbox 360 to the internet via my computer (network bridge: i.e. wireless and lan are bridged), which was wirelessly connected to my adsl router. I now have it connected through my computer still, but my computer is connected to a router that is connected to a cable modem as i am now on cable. i dont know if that is a problem or not, but a few minutes ago i was trying to set xbox live up on my 360 and on my pc it said IP conflict or something, and the IP address test on the 360 fails. I have now typed in manually an ip address (192.168.2.9) and also the subnets, the dns and the gateway are all correct. But it still wont connect properly. Any help please? lnmnky
How have you connected your 360 to the router? wireless? lan cable? why don't you skip out the PC altogether? Have you set the gateway on your 360 to the IP of your new router or are you using internet connection sharing still? Draw a little picture. But luna, just to clarify, (cheers for questions though, could help someone else) Xbox 360 -> Pc Via Ethernet PC -> Router Via Wireless Router is downstairs and dont have a Lan Cable long enough to run to the router.
