Is there any way i can get Vista and XP themes and visual styles and then apply them to my 98 windows?

Yes Windowblinds http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/ still has a version for 98.

That's it (Y) . It's version 4.51 or 4.61 that does that mission.

Thanks all.

For Digix and JHatcher, i guess you should give it a try :)

It applied several themes, but the only thing i couldn't do is changing the taskbar + start button to the XP view (I think that this very much, but i just wanted to do it :D )

Thanks again..

Is there ANY way to use this program to get 98se to look like xp?

Yes, I was using WindowBlinds on Windows 98, and making it look way better than XP before XP even came out. But be careful, although WindowBlinds is extremely low on resources when running it on XP, it is a complete resource hog on older versions of Windows. Just make sure that your machine can handle it.

no, i remember there was a way to use the xp theme on windows 98. without the use of thirdparty programs. it was a quick simple way. install a patch and a little program..well iguess thats thirdparty, but its really small. and it works.

look for it, its not hopeless...wish i could pull it up but this was like 5 years ago.

IMO I think Win 98 is sometimes more stable than XP and still boots up quicker however bogged down with dirt it gets.

However, I want to play games so XP comes first hehe :D
