Battlefield 2142 Goes Gold!

EA and DICE are pleased to announce that Battlefield 2142 has gone gold. Meaning that after months of internal testing and balancing, the game has been handed over to the quality assurance team for final testing. Congratulations to everyone involved, and a big thank you to everyone involved in the Beta testing.

Yeah, I don't think they mean 'going gold'. I think they just mean 'a pay-to-play open beta.' :p

good, parts for my new PC will be here monday and tuesday :)

And this edition of battlefield has really been playtested a lot, i dont think it will have as many bugs as the current and previous ones did.

I never usually bash EA but if BF2 is anything to go by then this game is far from 'gold' status.

Hhahahah! Guess you didn't play the beta much. And considering the code from beta to gold wasn't changed much, yeah. GG.

Posting as news shortly.
