mwk3
ok, i've got a reletively old original Geforce by Asus. now, in redhat 8, it recognizes it as a generic type of the geforce 256. that shouldn't be a problem but it won't let me enable 3d acceleration. also, it only reads 4 of the 32 mb of ram on the card. could somebody help me get that enabled and set up the way it should be? thanks in advance
AGMW
Have you checked Asus's or Nvidia's website for their drivers?
mwk3
asus's website didn't have anything. nvidia didn't have anything for redhat 8 and i don't think i'm gonna build the stuff right to get it to work. i'm gonna try though
mezz
You will need the Nvidia's driver.. Check Nvidia's forums -> http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/forumdispl....php?forumid=14 .. You will see the answer to your question in the pinned topic.
