jadkins555 Posted October 17, 2006 Share Posted October 17, 2006 With the drivers before this I would skip the installation of the Audio Console and just use Windows Speaker Setup to get surround sound functioning. Not so with these drivers. If I set my Windows Speakers Setup to 5.1 I still would not get sound coming out of my rear speakers. I was forced to use the Audio Console in order to get surround sound working properly. Speaking of which, it seems to be redesigned since I last installed it.
