Funny i ran across this

There is a way to stop this service from running.... but it does involve a patch and some "rewording of files"

If you google around im sure you can find it out there somewhere

Hi all - thanks for that thread !

I use acrobat 8 - I bought it with my scanner - which means, I own a valid license !

BUT: I work with virtual machines - and some of them have no internet access

as eg my "Scanner-VM"

I was working for a client and opened 2 pdf-forms to compare them with each other

Shortly after opening them they took up close to 100% of the CPU's capacity and my machine tilt.

Not only once ... which was extremely annoying.

It seems as if I could solve the problem with your help - so I am glad I found this site.

Just one question [with various forms].... What exactly is WRONG with this file? Does it do anything malicious to the computer? Does it slow down the computer? Does it try to do something that you don't want it to? Or is it just a name on the processes list?

Before I even attempt to modify my program [autodesk 2010] I want to know if there is actually any reason to do so?

Hit me back, guys. Thanks~
