Thekk Posted November 20, 2002 Share Posted November 20, 2002 Around 8 am (CET) a fire started in the building of the University of Twente where the computercentre is located. Firemen are (still??) trying to put out the flames, but the building has been destroyed. Not only is this bad for this university (all of their network equipment was located here), but the campus also uses the same uplink to the internet, just like another college. Good thing they have backups on another physical location. But there will be one organisation that is happy (sort of): the RIAA and consorts. The network of the UT was known as a heaven for softwarepirates...
